Here's a unique warning-sign pacifier that alerts new mothers to a child's potential fever. Funtastic Media offers this Green Dot Pacifier for your maternity programs to provide preventative care in an everyday pacifier. This product contains a color-change dot which is green at normal temperature, then turns black at 100F or more before returning to green when normal again.

Directions for use:

  • Use Green Dot Pacifier with color-change dot like any regular pacifier.
  • If baby has a fever of at least 100F/37.8C, the green dot changes from green to black in approximately 7-8 minutes. At higher temperatures, the color change occurs more rapidly.
  • Drinking hot or cold fluids immediately before use may affect reading.
  • Green Dot Pacifier is a monitor of oral temperature only. If fever is indicated, take temperature with a rectal thermometer. Rectal temperature may vary from oral temperature by 1.0F/0.6C or more. If feverish condition persists, notify physician.

Recommended care:
Before first use, wash new pacifier in hot, soapy water. Rinse in cool water. For routine cleaning, wash in warm, soapy water. Hot water will cause dot to turn black. Wait for dot to turn to green before using. Store at room temperature (65F-90F/ 18C-32C) and out of direct sunlight. DO NOT MICROWAVE.
